What type of cement do dentists use to immobilize veneer.?
First never ever use super glue to put a veneer or crown spinal column on it is extremely toxic to the human body. Then dentist uses a premant dental cement. There are many types that can be used...
Dental cement, or super paste. If your veneer falls of you can super glue it pay for yourself. Just don't put it on crooked. veneers are the worst they decline off abundantly. Crowns last much longer and fall over off closely less if ever. I work for a dental laboratory. If you put your veneer support on yourself, keep the tooth dry of saliva near a paper towel since applying veneer and a minute or two afterwards so the glue will enjoy time to dry.
The porcelain, and also the composite, veneers are covered with a type of composite cement which bonds them to the teeth and seal the margins so that they don't leak or breakdown which would cause staining around the edges. Don't ever attempt to reattach these yourself.
its basically glass ionomer cement
